In the close of the last speech of his career, in reference to the bomb threat, King said the following:

"And then I got to Memphis. And some began to say the threats, or talk about the threats that were out. What would happen to me from some of our sick white brothers? Well, I don't know what will happen now. We've got some difficult days ahead. But it doesn't matter with me now. Because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. And I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord." - Martin Luther King Jr.

King was booked in room 306 at the Lorraine Motel, owned by Walter Bailey, in Memphis. King was shot at 6:01 p.m, April 4th 1968. while he was standing on the motel's 2nd floor balcony. The bullet entered through his right cheek smashing his jaw and then traveling down his spinal cord before lodging in his shoulder. According to Jesse Jackson, who was present, King's last words on the balcony were to musician Ben Branch, who was scheduled to perform that night at an event King was attending: "Ben, make sure you play Take My Hand, Precious Lord in the meeting tonight. Play it real pretty." Abernathy heard the shot from inside the motel room and ran to the balcony to find King on the floor.

Highlight of My 1st year of Army life

Its been more than a year since this blog died. Well. Im here to ressurect it!

Was a funny week man for me! Cyril was complaining to me FO outside toilet when he gets a bit "OVER". Begin kicking the sign right in front of him and cursing and swearing at FO. When we suddenly got a shock as we do not know who's in the toilet. To our astonishment, FO suddenly came out of toilet and stared at CYRIL ! hahaha! We were like "Oh my MAMA!" Cant Stop laughing man!!! LOL

Alright time to report to guard house. Shall continue tml morning!

Fortune telling experience?

Few weeks ago, met a fortune teller again! He ask me whether do i want my fortune to be told. I rejected him. He kept on saying, you gonna get lucky in the next few weeks. Yea right! lucky! eventually he caught my colleague Andy's attention. He made andy super frustrated sia! wasted 30 dollars for a person to talk nonsense! LOL!

Few weeks later, i finally got my NS letter, and i got into infantry in June 15! was that a good luck? Lol! hhaha! Of course not! i Believe in prophecy and not fortune telling!

Christmas was awesome... haha! I believe Clement's testimonies had touched many people who did not live in a great family. It touched me too. After service was so fun to hang out with my brothers and sisters. haha! went to a place where we did not eat before. it's quite fun to dine there although the waiter there a bit annoying. Haha!!

Anyway, Thats just the beginning of excitement!! Next week we're gonna PARTY WHOLE NIGHT in the main event of every end of the year which is the CREATE, Heart awards 2006! WOAH! LAST YEAR WAS AWESOME! This year is gonna be BIG! Parkview sq! A thousand seaters! Rocking Praise and Worship! Dance! Videos! Awards!Testimonies! Performance! And many more to come! Arent you excited? If u had not been to the most exciting places in town before! You gotta come for this alright! Time to get some excitement into your life if you had not have 1 this year!
